We Are WeShape.


Our vision is to change the landscape of consulting within the technology industry.


Utilising our expertise within the DevOps, Digital, Data and Cloud market, we engage our network of Associates, some of the brightest minds within industry. We consult, guide and deliver solutions for some of the world’s leading brands within the market.


The problem you’ll be solving.


WeShape is building a gig economy of the top 5% of DevOps, Digital, Data and Cloud native specialists within the market, and as the first hire within this function, you’ll be responsible for sharing our message across the UK and worldwide. 


Our aim is that when industry leading companies need to accelerate their technology projects, need specialist expertise, or even think DevOps, they think of WeShape.


Furthermore, we run London Tech Leaders - ( - a leading peer-to-peer event community for senior technology executives. We run quarterly events, an animated podcast series, newsletter, and a website jam-packed full of content. 


We want this to become THE hub for technology leaders, and add value to as many people as possible and reach the widest possible audience. 

What you’ll be doing.


This will be a vast and varied role, taking ownership of our entire marketing function. You’ll have the support where needed from our agency partners, but this will be a broad role giving you exposure to the whole marketing lifecycle. 


Our priorities for this role: 


  • Increase traffic to our websites, social media pages, and newsletters. 


  • Create and promote a steady stream of interesting content


  • Use innovative ideas to promote our services to an international audience


How we achieve these priorities will be up to you, but we’d imagine a typical week to include: 


  • Using your copywriting skills to create B2B-focused content 

  • Improving the SEO of both our sites - and 

  • Creating landing pages to drive newsletter and event sign-ups 

  • Improve on our existing marketing collateral - pitch decks, social media graphics and more

  • Run and manage events (virtual and in-person) 

  • Maximising our ad spend through targeted campaigns 

  • Driving leads back our sales team 

This role is for you if: 


  • You look at this spec and think ‘this could have been written so much better’ 

  • Perhaps you’re stifled by working in a large organisation, and want the flexibility to implement your own ideas 

  • You’re not receiving the training, investment and tools you need to make the most of your skills 

  • You enjoy a varied role ( we know everyone says ‘no 2 days are the same’, but here no 2 hours are the same)


Ideally you’ll have: 


  • 1-2 years’ marketing experience, ideally in a B2B environment 

  • Experience managing social media campaigns across multiple platforms 

  • Run and managed events on a large scale 

  • Skills across copywriting, SEO and graphic design
